Webex Calling Service App

Configure Webex Calling integration using Service App credentials. This creates a Zabbix host with the Webex Calling Analytics template.

How to get the Refresh Token: Log in to developer.webex.com → Go to your Service App → Authorize the app for your Organization → Copy the Refresh Token from the authorization response. The refresh token is valid for 90 days and will be automatically renewed by the script.

Host Management

View and remove hosts from Zabbix. Removing a host deletes it and all associated data permanently.

On-Prem CUCM — Critical Device Pools

Define which CUCM device pools contain critical phones. When phones in these pools become unregistered, a HIGH severity alert is triggered. The configuration is saved to the {$CRITICAL.DEVICE.POOLS} macro on each CUCM host.

None configured

Enter exact device pool names as configured in CUCM. Case-sensitive. One per line or comma-separated.

CSV or TXT file with one device pool name per line. First row can be a header (it will be skipped if it contains "device" or "pool").

Webex Calling — Critical Extensions

Define critical extension numbers or phone numbers for Webex Calling devices. When devices assigned to these extensions go offline, a HIGH severity alert is triggered. The configuration is saved to the {$WEBEX.CRITICAL.EXTENSIONS} macro on the Webex Calling host.

None configured

Enter extension numbers or full phone numbers (E.164 format). One per line or comma-separated.

CSV or TXT file with one extension/phone number per line. First row can be a header (it will be skipped if it contains "extension" or "number").

Tips:
  • Use the ClusterName tag on hosts to group cluster nodes together in the dashboard.
  • Use the Country and Location tags for geographic hierarchy display.
  • Mark a device as Critical during onboarding to receive HIGH severity alerts when it goes down.
  • Auto-discovered hosts (e.g. VMware VMs) can be onboarded by assigning the correct template via Host Management.
  • To hide unused sidebar sections, go to Settings > Sidebar Config.
